  1. How can I find a good Chiropractor?

Friends and Family are always your best resource. Ask around, often times you’ll find a loved one who has a great chiropractor they see regularly that they can refer you too. If not, there is always the internet. There are many sites like Google Plus reviews, Yelp, and personal websites that can narrow down your search. Reviews from current patients’ about their experience are a great way to see if the chiropractor is a right fit for you. The reviews we most enjoy are video testimonials. They allow you not only to hear amazing success stories but the chiropractor will often be in the video so you can get a better “feel” if they are the doc for you. Also, looking at the reviews can help narrow down your search if they specialize in conditions or symptoms that you are currently suffering from.

  1. What should I expect on my first visit?

The first visit to a chiropractor is all about you. The first day will often begin with a complete consultation to discuss your most pressing health concerns or questions. Next, a thorough exam is done to find any areas of concern in your body or spine that could be causing your symptoms. Finally X-rays will be taken if abnormalities are found during the exam.  Once we gather all your most important health history information, we can put together the best approach to get you on the road to better health.

  1. Do I really need X-rays?

Although X-rays can be a concern for some, they are vital to giving you the highest quality of care. Not only does an X-ray give us crucial information about abnormal spinal changes, degeneration, or arthritis, they allow us to create a specific and customized approach to treatment based solely on you and your body alone. However, our favorite thing about doing an evaluation on a patient is educating them on their X-rays, because now they can actually see why they are in pain and more importantly how it can be helped.

  1. What can a chiropractor help with?

You probably already know that a chiropractor is great at helping with symptoms like back pain, neck pain, and headaches. And you’re right. However, you do not to be in pain to get amazing health results by visiting a chiropractor. Every time you get adjusted your body produces more energy, decreases stress, and improves overall function. Most patients in our office continue with wellness adjustments once their pain has subsided. They even bring their kids and families in who don’t have pain as a preventative measure. Anyone with a body can benefit from chiropractic!
